Impact Aid Survey Cards Help Benefit District
All OUSD parents and guardians are asked to please fill out the 2014 Federal Impact Aid Survey card. Survey cards will be sent home with students on Wednesday, October 1 and must be returned the following day, Thursday, October 2.
This important survey is used to determine the number of parents in our district who work or live on federal property. The federal government provides funds to the Oceanside Unified School District based on the results of this survey.
Examples of federal property include: all military bases (Camp Pendleton, MCRD, Miramar, etc.), Indian tribal lands (including casinos), immigration offices, homeland security offices, FBI buildings, farm land on federal property, border patrol offices and federal subsidized housing.
For questions or further information, please call 760-966-4012.
Good morning, Lincoln Middle School!
Stop a minute and think about the one person in your life with the greatest smile. How do you feel when that person smiles at you? Do you feel good just thinking about it?
Now listen to the words of an anonymous author:
“A smile costs nothing, but gives much. It enriches those who receive it, without making poorer those who give. It takes but a moment, but the memory sometimes lasts forever . . . . It brings rest to the weary, cheer to the discouraged, sunshine to the sad, and it is nature's best cure for trouble.”
Today, let's be generous with one another by being generous with our smiles.
With something to think about… make it a great day by owning your actions, behaviors, and attitude. As always, the choice is yours.
