Morning Announcements

November 15, 2019

STUDENTS:

As our focus on kindness comes to a close, let’s reflect on what it means to be kind. Some might think that showing kindness is a sign of weakness, but it’s just the opposite. Kindness takes strength and courage. Kind people are willing to put their own needs and wants aside in order to do something for others. When you see someone who needs help will you step in to do what you can? Let’s make Lincoln a school where everyone treats each other with caring and kindness.

Our annual canned food drive has begun. This is our opportunity to give back to our beautiful community of Oceanside and help someone else in need.  Please take your canned food items to your fifth period class for counting. The class that brings in the highest number of canned foods will have the opportunity to throw pies at the admin during a lunch time activity.  Start bringing in those cans Panthers!

We had over 30 students who wanted to help build baby gift baskets today. We can only use the help of 12 kids, so a drawing for participants was held on Thursday. The following students were chosen to participate;

Daniela V.

Hannah T.

Liberty W.

Frankie D.

Robert W.

Bella R.

Sequoia M.

Minha M.

Linnea B.

Taliyah J.

Esmeralda M.

Aneliy R.
